After 1953 Henk Krijger’s signature designs reveal the almost physical, personal gestural enactment
or bodily-felt activation of position, placement, and flow that we see in his art.
Implicit is a liminal but robust sense of gesticulating in and with the typographic elements
“as if they are his own body parts, as if that reality were his own body.”
